Stanley's House With Washing Machine and Compactor 

that came off of a 50' sailboat that wrecked on the reef a year ago. 

Sailboat owner "donated" anything salvagable to the village in thanks for saving his (and family's) life. 

Stanley, the Chief's son got the best things: the washing machine and trash compactor.  Unfortunately, there is no electricity in the village, so the "treasured" items sit outside his hut, sort of as status symbols.
